Storing talcum powder in Intex pools

You can use the pool talcum powder at two times; when assembling your Intex pool and when storing your Intex pool.
Using talcum powder when setting up the pool:
When you set up your Intex or Bestway pool, you should powder the tubes that go into the edge of your frame pool liner. This will prevent the tubes from sticking to the liner. It saves a lot of hassle when you have to disassemble your pool after the summer!
Use of pool talcum powder when storing the pool:
After you have used your pool, it is time to put it away again. It often happens that the liner is not stored 100% dry or that moisture builds up in the liner during storage, causing the plastic of the liner to stick together. This can lead to small holes (leaks). You can prevent these small holes/leaks by powdering your liner with pool talcum powder before storage.

How do I apply talcum powder to my pool liner?
It is important that the liner of your pool is bone dry. The talcum powder must be sprinkled on a dry liner. You can do this easily by gradually sprinkling it on the liner. This protects the pool liner and ensures that the pool is easy to take apart after the summer.

Preventing pipes from sticking to the liner of your pool
You can also apply talcum powder to the openings where the tubes go in. By applying talcum powder between the pool liner and the frame, you prevent the pool liner from sticking to the metal tubes during the summer.
