Winterisation pipe for injector 1 1/2 inch

Save water by fitting this handy overwintering tube to your pool's injector(s) and vacuum connection.

The overwintering tube has a 1 1/2-inch swivel connection.
Use Teflon to connect the tube to your injector and/or hoover connection.

The tube is +/- 60 cm long and has a handy cap. If necessary, it can be shortened using a hacksaw. Of course, it can also be extended using a Ø 50 mm PVC sleeve [ZALX3130], PVC glue and a piece of Ø 50 mm diameter - PVC tube (7.5 bar) - 1 metre [ZALX5030-1C].

Installation

Remove cover plates from the injectors and vacuum connection and install the overwintering tube.

There are 2 ways to proceed:
You can lower the water in your pool below the level of the skimmer and then empty the pipes using a compressor or hydrogen hoover. This is best done through the winterisation pipe itself or possibly in the technical room.
Another possibility is to lower the water below the level of the injectors and hoover connection and then install the wintering tube, so that the pool can then be refilled naturally with rainwater.

At the spring start-up of your pool, disconnect the tubes and the pipes will fill up with water again.
