Winterizing your pool

When the water temperature drops to 12°C it is time to winterize your pool. This temperature is no longer pleasant for algae, which limits their growth. With winterizing product you prevent calcification and petrifaction of impure particles in the water and keep the pool crystal clear all winter.

Instructions for winterizing the pool

First remove all the dirt from the pool and then perform a chlorine choc treatment. Wait 24 hours and then add the necessary amount of product (read below) to the water. Run the pump for several hours for optimal distribution of the product. Then lower the water to below the skimmers and turn off the pump and filter. Protect your skimmers and injectors with a gizzmo and winter caps. Cover the pool with a winter tarp. Distribute winterizing product over the water surface again in late January. This time this may be done manually.

Winter Ready with algae killer - 1L & 5L

• 1 liter Winter Ready with algae killer = 10m³ pool water
• 1 liter Super Concentrated = 50m³ pool water
• 5 liters Winter ready with algae killer = 50m³ pool water

Instructions for winterising the swimming pool

Dilute the required dose in a bucket of water and spread this solution over the entire water surface. When doing so, turn on the filter installation so that the product is well mixed into the water.
