The surface water flows away through the skimmer to the swimming pool pump.

The coarse dirt stays behind in the skimmer-basket and can’t flow back into the pool thanks to the skimmer-cover.

It is recommended to place at least 1 skimmer per 25 m³ to guarantee a proper water purification.
